This renovation was architecturally designed by Bourne & Blue Architecture. The work entailed a partial demolition of the rear of the existing dwelling, with an extension for a new kitchen, living and lounge area. It also included a partial refurbishment of the existing house with a new bathroom and extra bedroom conversion. Some of the highlights of this renovation was the polished concrete floor in the new extension, the beautiful exposed hydra hardwood timbers (both internal and external), and the great day bed in the bay window off the lounge area. This project also utilized recycled materials in the windows, doors and hardwood timbers. This project was undertaken in 4 months.
